Thane Woman Dies After Eating Rice Mixed With Rat Poison
A 69-year-old woman named Shobha Vasudev Dalvi became seriously ill after eating rice mixed with rat poison.
She was at her home in Sapadgaon, near Kalyan.
Her son was away celebrating Dahi Handi at the time.
When her health worsened, her son took her to a hospital.
Doctors then sent her to Sion Hospital in Mumbai for more treatment.
She died there on September 9.
