AIFF Overturns Interim Rulings in Anwar Ali Case
There was a big argument about a football player named Anwar Ali.
He wanted to play for East Bengal, but other teams like Mohun Bagan Super Giant and Delhi FC had different opinions.
The football federation in India first made some temporary decisions, but then a higher committee said those decisions were not good and sent the case back to be looked at again.
The committee said they weren't taking sides and everyone can still fight for their rights in court.
Anwar is still not sure if he can play right now.
AIFF Appeals Committee overturned two interim rulings in Anwar Ali's eligibility dispute.
The matter has been remanded for fresh adjudication by the Players' Status Committee (PSC).
The committee clarified it was not expressing any opinion on the merits of the claims.
All parties are free to pursue their rights and remedies under law, including in the Delhi High Court.
Anwar Ali's immediate playing status remains undetermined.
