They officially started their paperless work with a special session on August 4, 2025, after signing an agreement on March 22, 2025.
This makes Delhi the 18th state in India to use this digital system for all its legislative activities.
At a big meeting in New Delhi, where representatives from all over India came, Delhi's achievement was highlighted.
The Speaker of the Delhi Assembly, Vijender Gupta, also suggested creating a special index to rank how well different states are doing with their legislative work, which would help make government more efficient and open.
This move is a big step towards making all of India's government work digital.
Union Minister Kiren Rijiju praised the Delhi Assembly for achieving paperless governance in under 100 days using the NeVA system.
Delhi became the 18th State to implement a fully paperless First Session on August 4, 2025, following an MoU on March 22, 2025.
