IIM Ahmedabad Tops BT-MDRA Best B-Schools Ranking

IIM Ahmedabad has been ranked the best business school in India according to the BT-MDRA India’s Best B-Schools Ranking.

IIM Calcutta came in second, followed by IIM Lucknow, SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, and IIM Indore.

Out of the top 10, six are government-owned IIMs and four are privately-owned.

The ranking also highlights concerns about the rising fees and the return on investment for B-school degrees.

It also notes a shift towards continuous education and lists the best online courses and executive education offerings.

The overall state of management education in India is considered good, but there is a need for institutions to update their curricula to reflect changing realities.

The challenge for Indian B-schools is to become global and prepare business leaders for a volatile geopolitical landscape.
