UP Holds Camps for Construction Worker Welfare
The government of Uttar Pradesh held special camps to help construction workers learn about and sign up for welfare programs.
These camps were in Lucknow and taught workers about different schemes that can help them and their families.
The schemes include help for weddings, support for mothers and children, education for kids, and financial aid for workers who are disabled or have passed away.
Many workers attended and signed up for these benefits.
The government wants to make sure workers know how to register and renew their membership to get these benefits.
They can do this online or at special centers.
The Uttar Pradesh government organized registration and awareness camps for construction workers in Lucknow to promote welfare schemes.
Key schemes highlighted include Kanya Vivah Sahayta Yojana, Matritva Shishu Evam Baalika Madad Yojana, Sant Ravidas Education Promotion Scheme, Nirmaan Kamgar Mrtyu Va Divyangta Sahayta Yojana, and the Atal Residential School Scheme.
The camps received a positive response with many workers registering for the schemes.
Workers with a minimum of three years of service were encouraged to apply for their children's admission to Classes 6 and 9 under the Atal Residential School Scheme for the 2026–27 academic session.
Registration and renewal can be done through CSC e-District Centers, CSC e-Governance Centers, or the Board’s official website, upbocw.in.
