Zimbabwe Women's Cricket Team Enters ICC Championship
Zimbabwe's women's cricket team is going to start playing in a big international competition called the ICC Women's Championship.
They will play their first games in New Zealand in 2026, including both one-day and T20 matches.
This is a big deal because it's the first time they'll compete against New Zealand in these types of games and it's also a chance to qualify for the Women's ODI World Cup.
They will play in several series, both at home and away, against top teams, which is a great opportunity to improve.
Zimbabwe's women's cricket team will debut in the ICC Women's Championship.
The team will tour New Zealand in February-March 2026 for both ODI and T20I series.
The tour includes three ODIs in Dunedin, marking their entry into the Championship.
This is the first time Zimbabwe will play against New Zealand in both formats.
Zimbabwe will host four home ODI series and travel for four away series.
