Veterans to Retrace Gandhi's Dandi March

Veterans to Retrace Gandhi's Dandi March

A group of veterans from the armed forces and NCC cadets are going to walk a long distance from the Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi.

This walk is to remember and honor the famous march that Gandhi did in 1930.

They will walk about 25-30 kilometers each day for the entire 387 kilometers.

The idea is to show that change can come from being strong and patient, not just from force or noise.

It's a way to start the new year by remembering an important part of history.
