UEFA launches 'Clear Line' platform to demystify VAR rules
Soccer referees have a big job because they must make fair calls during the game.
To help them, there is a video system called VAR, which stands for Video Assistant Referee.
Sometimes people get confused about when VAR should be used.
UEFA, the organization that runs the Champions League, heard everyone's questions.
So they built a special website called 'Clear Line'.
This website explains when and how the video referee should step in.
It shows more than 100 video examples from the last eight years.
It was made for players, coaches, fans and journalists, not just referees.
Starting with the 2026-27 season, UEFA will make VAR less busy.
The video referee will only help on big, clear mistakes instead of tiny details.
