MP CM Highlights India's Nature Harmony at Climate Seminar
Imagine our planet Earth is like a big home.
Some people think it's okay to use up all its toys and resources without thinking about the future, which can cause problems like climate change.
But in India, the culture has always taught people to be gentle with nature, like sharing toys and taking care of them so everyone can enjoy them.
The leader of a state called Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, spoke at a meeting about this.
He said that taking care of nature is super important, just like eating healthy food and playing.
He explained that we need to think about how we live so we don't break our planet's home.
He also mentioned that everyone, from individuals to governments, needs to work together to keep our home clean and safe for everyone, including future kids.
The ideas from this meeting will be shared with other countries at a big world meeting soon.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav stated that India has historically nurtured and preserved nature, unlike many nations that exploited it.
Yadav contrasted consumption-driven lifestyles, which aggravate climate change, with the Indian philosophy of preservation before use and harmony.
The CM addressed a seminar in Bhopal focused on states' roles in climate change and sustainable development.
The seminar's ideas will be shared at the upcoming UN Climate Change Conference in Brazil in November 2025.
The Madhya Pradesh government is actively working on expanding green cover, conserving wetlands, rejuvenating water sources, and promoting eco-friendly industries.
