The Union Health Minister, J P Nadda, spoke at a health conference about how India is improving healthcare.

He said the country is working to provide better medical facilities and prevent diseases before they start.

The government has expanded wellness centers where people can get regular check-ups to detect diseases early.

These centers offer free consultations, nutrition checks, and tests for blood pressure and sugar.

ASHA workers will ensure that everyone above 30 years gets regular health screenings.

The Ayushman Bharat scheme provides free healthcare services, including coverage for people above 70 years.

The minister also talked about the TB elimination mission, which uses digital X-ray facilities for faster diagnosis.

Over 42 crore Ayushman cards have been issued, providing cashless treatment up to Rs 5 lakh.

The minister encouraged social organizations to help bring more people to these wellness centers.

Dr. Raj Bahadur, a renowned spine specialist, praised the Ayushman Bharat scheme for being a lifeline for the poor.

Several doctors were awarded for their contributions to medical education and administration.
