Mumbai Western Railway to Convert Luggage Coaches for Seniors
The Western Railway is making Mumbai's local trains better for senior citizens.
They are changing old luggage areas into special coaches just for them because there aren't enough seats, as a court ordered.
The seventh coach from the Churchgate side will be changed on multiple trains.
Each new coach will have seats and space for people to stand.
The project is expected to cost 5.4 crore rupees.
Western Railway will convert luggage compartments into special coaches for senior citizens on Mumbai local trains.
