Mumbai’s listed immersion timings are 6:28–10:59 am, 12:30–2:01 pm, 5:02–6:32 pm and 9:31–11:01 pm.
Devotees traditionally perform a final puja and aarti, offer food and flowers, and seek forgiveness before immersion.
Authorities and devotees are encouraged to use designated sites or artificial ponds and keep puja materials out of natural water bodies.
