Pune Metro Line 3: 100 Women Loco Pilots to Drive Trains
Pune is getting a new metro line, Line 3, which will connect different parts of the city.
The exciting news is that the trains on this line will be driven only by women!

This is a first-of-its-kind project in India.
Line 3 will make it faster to travel between Shivajinagar and Hinjewadi, helping to reduce traffic and making it easier for people to get around.
Keolis will maintain the trains, stations, and ticketing systems for 10 years, and the whole project is expected to be up and running by March 2026.
