Rashtrapati Bhavan Closed for Republic Day

Rashtrapati Bhavan Closed for Republic Day

The Rashtrapati Bhavan, which is a big and important building in India, will be closed to the public from January 21 to 29, 2026.

This is because there are two big events happening: the Republic Day Parade on January 26 and the Beating Retreat Ceremony on January 29.

These events are very important for India, and the building needs to be closed so that everything can be set up properly.

The Beating Retreat Ceremony is held at Vijay Chowk, which is near the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Normally, the Rashtrapati Bhavan is open for visitors six days a week, from Tuesday to Sunday, with seven visiting slots each day.

Each slot can have up to 60 visitors, and the last entry is at 4:00 PM.

So, if you wanted to visit the Rashtrapati Bhavan during this time, you will have to wait until after January 29.
