Kevin Vaz, from JioStar, has been re-elected as the head of the Indian Broadcasting & Digital Foundation (IBDF).

Rajat Sharma, Gaurav Banerjee, and R. Mahesh Kumar were also re-elected as Vice Presidents.

The meeting highlighted the importance of linear TV in India, where it continues to be a large source of content and viewed for about 46 trillion minutes.

Avinash Pandey will become the new Secretary General starting October 1st, succeeding Siddharth Jain.
