MCD Requests Records of 2002-06 Sanitation Workers
The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) told all its district offices to send in records of sanitation workers hired from 2002 to 2006.
They need names, birth dates, and other details in both paper and Excel files.
The deadline is 15 days.
If any worker is left out, the officials could face punishment.
A MCD official said this is just to make a database, not a promise that workers will get permanent jobs.
MCD has asked all zonal offices to submit verified records of sanitation workers hired between April 2002 and April 2006 within 15 days.
Records must include names, fathers' names, dates of birth, BMID, dates of initial engagement, and verification from accounts department.
Submissions are required in hard copy and Excel format; omitted names will not be accepted after the deadline.
Officials warned of disciplinary action if eligible employees are later found omitted.
Sandeep Kapoor clarified the exercise is to create a verified database, not an order for regularisation.
