Sukhna Lake Floodgate Opened After Heavy Rainfall
Sukhna Lake in Chandigarh had too much water because of heavy rain.
The water level got too high, reaching a dangerous point.
To prevent the lake from overflowing, authorities opened one of the floodgates to let some water out.
This helps to keep the lake safe.
The team in charge of the lake is watching the situation closely to make sure everything is okay.
They had even practiced opening the floodgates a few days before the rain, to make sure they worked properly.
