BJP Targets Punjab AAP Government Over Killings and Corruption Allegations

The BJP criticized the government of Punjab after four people were killed in the state over two days.

BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said the deaths showed that law and order was a serious problem.

He also accused people linked to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann of corruption.

Those corruption claims were allegations made by the BJP.

The Punjab and Haryana High Court ordered the Central Bureau of Investigation to look into allegations described in letters from the Enforcement Directorate.

The article does not report a response from the AAP government to the BJP’s accusations.

The people killed were in different parts of Punjab, and some killings were reportedly linked to disputes or rivalries.

Patra also criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over a separate incident involving an Indian pilot.
