ABB India Shares Surge 10% on Strong Order Growth
ABB India's shares went up by 10% on January 29, 2025, because their parent company, ABB Ltd., reported really good news.
They said that orders in India grew by 49% compared to the same time last year.
This was much better than what experts thought would happen.
The stock has been going up for three days in a row, but it's still lower than it was in June 2024.
The good news from India helped make up for some problems in other places, like China.
ABB India shares surged over 10% on January 29, 2025, following ABB Ltd.'s Q4 CY25 results.
Order inflow growth for the Indian region was 49% year-on-year, exceeding analysts' expectations of 20%.
The growth in India and Australia offset weaknesses in the Chinese market.
ABB India's stock is up for the third consecutive day but remains 40% below its June 2024 peak of ₹9,200.
ABB Global's order inflow growth does not directly correlate with ABB India's performance.
