EPF Balance and Claim Status: Online Tracking Guide
Imagine your Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) is like a special savings account for your future.
If you want to see how much money is in it or check if your request to take some money out has been approved, you can do it easily!
You can visit the EPFO website and log in with your special number (UAN).
You can also use a special app on your phone called Umang; just search for EPFO and follow the steps.
If you prefer, you can even send a text message to a specific number with your UAN, and they will text you back with your balance.
These ways make it simple to keep track of your savings and requests without needing to visit an office.
EPFO subscribers can check their EPF balance and claim status online through the EPFO website.
The Umang app provides another platform for employees to track their claim status by logging in with their UAN.
To check the PF balance via SMS, send 'EPFOHO UAN' to 77382 99899 from your registered mobile number.
The SMS service is available in multiple regional languages besides English and Hindi.
All online and SMS methods require the Universal Account Number (UAN) linked to the employee's registered mobile number.
