What Is CoBRA? Inside CRPF’s Elite Jungle Warfare Force
CoBRA is a special group within India’s Central Reserve Police Force.
Its full name is Commando Battalion for Resolute Action.
The group works mainly in forests and difficult jungle areas.
Its missions include fighting insurgency and Left-Wing Extremism.
CoBRA members are chosen from the CRPF.
They receive extra training in jungle fighting, survival and commando tactics.
