Youth Protests Challenge Modi Government in India
In July 2026, a large group of young people, mostly Hindi-speaking Hindus but also including some Muslims, gathered at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi to protest against the Modi government.
They were upset about many things, like not having good jobs, exams being canceled because of cheating, and the government not listening to them.
Even though many of them had voted for the BJP in the past, they were now very angry and brave enough to speak out against the government and Prime Minister Modi.
The police tried to stop them, but the protesters stood their ground and even fought back.
This protest was different because it included people who had never protested before, and even some parents supported their children.
The protest was very big, with 50,000 to 100,000 people showing up.
The young protesters believe that the government should listen to them and make things better.
