Pakistan, Iran deport over 3,500 Afghan refugees in a day
A lot of Afghan people who were living in Pakistan and Iran were sent back to Afghanistan in just one day.
This happened because of some problems between the countries.
The Afghan government, which is now run by the Taliban, said that more than 3,500 people came back through different border points.
Some of these people got help when they arrived, like SIM cards for their phones.
But many Afghan people in Pakistan say they are treated badly and are very scared.
They say they don't have the same rights as others and live in very hard conditions.
The groups that are supposed to help them have not said much about this problem.
Over 3,500 Afghan refugees were deported from Iran and Pakistan in a single day.
The refugees returned through several border crossings, including Islam Qala and Torkham.
660 families received humanitarian assistance upon arrival, and 714 SIM cards were provided.
Afghan refugees in Pakistan report facing harassment, arrests, and extortion.
Human rights groups have been silent about the treatment of Afghan refugees.
