Tribal Families Appeal to Pawan Kalyan for Drinking Water

Tribal Families Appeal to Pawan Kalyan for Drinking Water
Andhra Pradesh: Tribals Appeal To Pawan For Drinking Water · deccanchronicle.com

About 50 tribal families live on a hill in Kondu village.

They do not have enough fresh drinking water nearby.

The borewells they used dried up after irregular rain and hot weather.

The families now walk two kilometres to collect spring water.

They worry that the water may cause health problems.

They also want a road, an Anganwadi centre and ASHA workers.

A baby girl named Pangi Eswari died of illness on August 19.

Villagers also recalled earlier deaths involving mothers and babies after premature deliveries.

They are asking Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan to help prevent more tragedies.
