BJP Plans Kerala Protests Demanding Resignations Over CMRL Case

The BJP in Kerala says it will hold protests over a case involving payments by a company called CMRL.

The Kerala High Court directed the state government to register a case based on a report from the Enforcement Directorate.

The agency alleges that CMRL paid Rs 2.78 crore to a company once run by Veena T, Pinarayi Vijayan’s daughter.

These are allegations, and the article does not report a court finding that they are true.

BJP leader S Suresh says the political leaders involved should resign.

The party planned a march to the Assembly on October 12 and announced more demonstrations on other issues.

The report gives conflicting descriptions of whether Pinarayi Vijayan or VD Satheesan is the chief minister.

It does not include a response from either leader.
