IPL Expansion and Champions League Revival Proposed by Ness Wadia
Punjab Kings co-owner Ness Wadia wants more IPL games and the return of the Champions League T20.
He thinks this will make the IPL more exciting and valuable.
However, he knows it might be hard to make this happen because of other cricket events.
Ness Wadia, co-owner of Punjab Kings, suggests increasing IPL games from 74 to 94 by 2028.
He proposes reviving the Champions League T20 to bridge the gap between IPL and auction.
Wadia welcomes the trend of holding IPL auctions overseas to increase brand exposure.
He believes a bigger IPL window would increase its overall brand value.
Wadia acknowledges the challenges in expanding the IPL window due to international cricket commitments.
