Bengaluru Metro's Yellow Line Set to Launch by August 2025
Imagine a new train line in Bengaluru called the Yellow Line, like a super-fast bus!
It's a long track with 16 stops, connecting the south to the southeast of the city.
It should start running in August 2025, which will make it easier to travel for people.
At first, only a few trains will run, and trains come every 20-25 minutes.
Officials might open fewer stations initially.
As more trains arrive and the full route becomes functional, more people can use it.
Safety checks are underway to make sure everything is working properly before the launch.
This is expected to make travel around the city a lot simpler.
Namma Metro's Yellow Line, spanning 19.15 km with 16 stations, is set to launch.
The line will connect RV Road to Bommasandra in Bengaluru.
Operations are expected to begin by August 2025, with a potential phased opening.
Initially, only three trains will operate with 20-25 minute intervals, potentially increasing frequency if fewer stations open.
The project is part of Phase 2 of the Namma Metro and awaits safety clearance.
