Bengaluru Metro Purple Line Services Disrupted by Technical Glitch
On Friday, May 23rd, the Pink Line of the Bengaluru Metro faced a problem due to a technical glitch.
Services were disrupted starting at 5 a.m.
at the Whitefield (Kadugodi) station, causing inconvenience for commuters.
During the disruption, trains only ran between Ujwala Metro Station and Challaghatta.
The Green Line was unaffected.
The BMRCL worked to fix the issue and restored normal operations across the Purple Line, including Whitefield (Kadugodi) station later in the day.
Due to the disruption, the BMRCL rolled back its earlier decision to extend metro services for the IPL match.
