Medicover Sells India Hospital Business to KKR for $1.39 Billion
A company called Medicover runs hospitals in several countries.
One of those countries is India.
Medicover has decided to sell its hospitals in India.
A big investment company called KKR is going to buy them.
The price is about €1.2 billion, which is around $1.39 billion.
That is a very large amount of money.
Medicover says the sale will help it focus on Poland, Germany, and Romania.
The company will get about €740 million in cash from the deal.
