Flights delayed, canceled at San Francisco Airport
Lots of flights at San Francisco Airport were delayed or canceled on Friday.
This happened because of strong winds and a suspicious package that made the police close one of the terminals for a while.
The terminal was closed for a few hours in the morning, and the flights that were still coming in were delayed by about an hour and 44 minutes.
The airport told people to come early and maybe use different terminals to avoid the crowds.
432 flights were delayed, mostly arrivals, and 26 flights were canceled at San Francisco International Airport on Friday.
Strong winds and weather conditions caused average delays of one hour and 44 minutes for arriving flights.
Terminal 1 was closed for over an hour due to police activity after a suspicious package was discovered.
The terminal was evacuated at around 8 a.m. local time and reopened at 10:45 a.m. local time.
