Google Docs Adds Gemini AI: Voice Reading & Image Creation
Google Docs is getting smarter!
It now has a new AI that can read your documents to you in different voices, like a friendly teacher or a motivational coach.
You can speed up or slow down the reading.
Plus, if you share a document with others, they can click a button to hear it too!
If you pay for the premium version, you can also make pictures inside your documents using AI, making Google Docs more helpful and fun for everyone.
Google Docs introduces a Gemini AI-powered audio feature for reading documents aloud.
Users can choose from seven AI voice styles and adjust the reading speed.
Collaboration is enhanced with the ability to insert 'Listen to tab' buttons in shared documents.
An AI image generator is also added to Google Docs on Android.
The new features are currently exclusive to premium Workspace subscribers.
