China Extends Visa-Free Entry to Latin American Countries
China is letting people from some Latin American countries visit without needing a visa.
This means folks from Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Uruguay can travel to China more easily, starting in June.
China hopes this will help them become better friends and do more business with these countries.
This move follows a big meeting where China promised to invest more in Latin America.
It's also seen as a way for China to have a bigger say in the world, especially when it comes to trade and cooperation with other countries.
China and Latin America already do a lot of trade, like buying and selling crops and oil.
This new visa policy could make it even easier to trade and work together.
China will allow visa-free entry for citizens of Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Uruguay.
The policy begins June 1st and lasts for a year.
The move is part of China's effort to strengthen ties with Latin America.
The decision follows the China-CELAC Forum where China pledged more economic cooperation.
China's trade with Latin America exceeded $500 billion last year.
