VIT Wins Careers360 Research Excellence Award in University Category
Vellore Institute of Technology, or VIT, has received a research award from Careers360.
It won in the university category.
The judges looked at several measures, including national ranking factors and research papers recorded by Scopus.
They considered work over five years, from 2020 to 2025.
The award was given at a summit in New Delhi.
VIT Vice-Chancellor V. S. Kanchana Baaskaran accepted it.
Vice-President Sekar Viswanathan also took part in a discussion about how research affects policy, business and society.
