ICMR transfers three biomedical technologies for cancer and infectious disease solutions

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has given licenses for three important medical technologies to Indian companies.

One technology, called SHetA2, helps treat cervical cancer by targeting only the bad cells and leaving the good ones alone.

The other two technologies are new vaccines that can protect against typhoid and other serious stomach infections.

These technologies were developed by Indian scientists working with international experts.

The goal is to make these treatments affordable and available to more people in India.

This is part of India's effort to create better healthcare solutions using local innovation.
