Chandigarh Police Headquarters Adopts Biometric Attendance System
The Chandigarh police are making it easier to keep track of who's at work.
They're using a new system called AEBAS that uses facial recognition.
Everyone working at the police headquarters needs to download two apps on their phones by June 1st.
This helps to stop people from having someone else mark them as present.
If anyone has trouble with the apps, there's help available on the first floor.
This change is meant to make things more efficient and make sure everyone is where they should be.
Chandigarh Police Headquarters is implementing a biometric attendance system (AEBAS).
The system utilizes facial recognition via two required apps.
All staff must install the apps by June 1.
Technical support will be available to help with the transition.
Non-compliance may result in disciplinary action.
