Haiwaan Review: Saif Misfires, Akshay Overacts in Illogical Remake

Haiwaan is a Hindi movie adapted from a Malayalam film called Oppam.

It follows Shyam Rane, a blind man played by Saif Ali Khan.

The review says the movie gives Shyam many abilities that do not feel believable.

It also says his expensive-looking clothes do not match his difficult financial situation.

Akshay Kumar plays a dangerous villain named Parshuram.

The reviewer thinks Akshay acts too loudly, making the villain seem funny instead of frightening.

The story includes confusing events, weak police characters and many unlikely situations.

Because of these problems, the reviewer considers Haiwaan unintentionally humorous and disappointing.
