CBSE Confirms Class 10 Passing Rule Remains Unchanged for 2027

CBSE says the passing rule for Class 10 will stay the same for the 2027 exams.

Students need to get at least 33% overall in a subject.

Their written exam and internal assessment marks are added together.

They do not need to get 33% in each part separately.

CBSE clarified this after some students and schools misunderstood its new guidelines.

The board also says the question paper design and assessment pattern will not change.

Students still need to follow the syllabus and other requirements for the new session.

CBSE has started collecting schools' List of Candidates details.

The exam datesheet has not been released yet.
