Pakistan Minister Inaugurates Fake Pizza Hut
A big politician in Pakistan, Khawaja Asif, cut a ribbon to open a new Pizza Hut restaurant.
But later, the real Pizza Hut company said it was not a real Pizza Hut and that someone was using their name without permission.
People on social media made jokes about it, and the company said they would take action.
The real Pizza Hut has only 16 stores in Pakistan, all in Lahore and Islamabad.
This shows how important it is to check if something is real before believing it.
Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Asif inaugurated a Pizza Hut-branded outlet in Sialkot, which was later revealed to be unauthorised and fraudulent.
Pizza Hut Pakistan issued a statement disowning the outlet, stating it does not follow their recipes, quality, or safety standards.
The company filed a complaint with authorities to stop the misuse of their trademark and urged customers to verify store locations through their official website.
Social media users widely trolled the minister and the situation, making jokes about the incident.
Pizza Hut Pakistan currently operates 16 official outlets nationwide, all located in Lahore and Islamabad.
