AIIMS Study: COVID Vaccines Not Linked to Cardiac Arrest
Doctors at AIIMS in New Delhi are studying why young people are suddenly dying from heart problems.
They found that it's usually due to unhealthy habits like smoking and not because of COVID-19 vaccines.
The study looked at people aged 18-45 and 45-60 and found no link between vaccines and these deaths.
The doctors say vaccines are actually helpful because they protect the heart from problems caused by COVID.
They also added that this is not new; such deaths happened before COVID, too, but we are now more aware of the problem.
AIIMS study found no link between COVID-19 vaccines and cardiac deaths in young adults.
The study analyzed sudden deaths in individuals aged 18-45 and 45-60 years old.
Coronary artery disease (CHD), linked to poor lifestyle, was the primary cause of death.
Researchers found no significant difference in death patterns compared to pre-COVID times.
Vaccines are found to be a protective factor against cardiac complications from COVID.
