Sahara Refund Portal Resumes Claims Up To ₹10 Lakh
The government has restarted a website for people waiting for Sahara cooperative society refunds.
Some depositors had problems because their forms had small mistakes or missing papers.
These people can now correct and submit their claims again.
A new claim can receive up to ₹50,000.
A corrected older claim can be for as much as ₹10 lakh.
Applicants need their Aadhaar number and an Aadhaar-linked phone number.
They must also provide membership information and proof of their deposit.
The cooperative society checks the claim first.
The Central Registrar then processes it, and the whole process may take about 45 days.
