Jharkhand ready to cancel JPSC and backlog exams, Soren says

Some students in the Indian state of Jharkhand were upset about their government job exams, so they marched and protested.

They wanted the exams to be fair because there were complaints and doubts about them.

The leader of the state, Chief Minister Hemant Soren, spoke about it in the Assembly.

He said the government is ready to cancel two sets of exams: the 14th JPSC preliminary exam and the backlog exams.

He also wants to investigate TDPL, the company that ran the exams.

Smart experts from famous schools like the IITs and IIMs will be asked to help make better and safer exams.

Some other politicians got angry and shouted during his speech.

Soren said they were just trying to use the students to win votes and mislead young people.

He promised that the government will keep working to make the recruitment process honest and fair for the state's youth.
