Dr Nik Kotecha Appointed Leicester University Pro-Chancellor
Dr Nik Kotecha, a scientist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, has been appointed as the new Pro-Chancellor (Enterprise) at the University of Leicester.
He will start this role on September 1, 2026.
Dr Kotecha is known for founding Morningside Pharmaceuticals and RandalSun Capital.
He arrived in Leicester as a refugee and built his company from a garage into a global supplier of medicines.
He has also received an OBE for his contributions to entrepreneurship and philanthropy.
