Delhi Helmet Campaign Receives Honourable Mention at Global Safety Conference
Delhi made a short video campaign about wearing helmets.
The campaign explains that helmets help protect people’s lives.
It is meant for people riding two-wheelers and for their passengers.
The campaign began in August 2025.
It was created by the Delhi Transport Department.
In 2026, it received an Honourable Mention at a safety conference in Cape Town.
The award was for a very short video.
Delhi’s transport minister said the recognition would encourage more road-safety communication.
The campaign is intended to work alongside traffic-rule enforcement.

The campaign was recognised in the Ultra Short Video category of the International Safety Media Awards.
Run by the Delhi Transport Department, it was launched in August 2025.
The campaign promotes helmet use among two-wheeler riders and pillion passengers.
