India Misses ‘Clutch’ Jemimah Rodrigues at Women’s Asia Cup

India is starting its campaign to win the Women’s Asia Cup again.

The team is nearly at full strength, but Jemimah Rodrigues cannot play.

She hurt her hamstring while playing in The Hundred Women’s.

She is recovering at a training center in Bengaluru.

She will also miss next month’s Asian Games.

Pratika Rawal has been chosen to replace her.

Rawal has not yet played a T20I or Women’s Premier League match.

Coach Amol Muzumdar said Jemimah’s ability to perform in important moments will be missed.
