ED Attaches Hotels in Patnitop Worth Rs 15.78 Crore
The government is taking action against some hotels in Patnitop, a popular tourist spot.
They have seized properties worth about 15.78 crore rupees.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED), a government agency, is doing this because they believe the hotels were built illegally and broke some rules.
The investigation started from a complaint by another government agency, the CBI.
The hotels are accused of building too big, using buildings for business when they shouldn't, and breaking other regulations.
This is part of a larger case involving several hotels in the area.
ED attached properties worth Rs 15.78 crore in Patnitop under PMLA.
The attached properties include three hotels: Pine Heritage, Dream Land, and Shahi Santoor.
The investigation stems from a CBI FIR against hotel owners and PDA officials.
Allegations include illegal construction and commercial use of residential buildings.
This follows a January attachment of two other Patnitop hotel properties.
