TMC Releases Welfare Documentary Ahead of Bengal Polls
The Trinamool Congress (TMC) has made a documentary called 'Lokkhi Elo Ghore' to show how their welfare schemes help people in Bengal.
The story is about a young widow who faces many problems after her husband dies.
She gets help from the government's schemes like money for her family, food, farming help, and healthcare.
This helps her rebuild her life and even makes her mother-in-law accept her again.
The TMC says this documentary shows what they have done for the people, even though the central government has not given them enough money.
They want to show this film to many people to tell them about these schemes.
TMC released a 55-minute documentary 'Lokkhi Elo Ghore' highlighting welfare schemes ahead of Bengal polls.
The documentary follows a young widow who benefits from state welfare schemes like Lakshmir Bhandar and Swasthya Sathi.
Abhishek Banerjee emphasized the government's achievements despite financial constraints and blocked funds worth Rs 2 lakh crore.
The film was directed by Raj Chakraborty and completed in 15 days under 'war-like urgency'.
The documentary will be screened across neighbourhoods and villages as part of the TMC’s grassroots campaign.
