20,000 items reported lost on Delhi Metro in two years

When people ride the Delhi Metro, they sometimes forget things behind.

Almost 20,000 items were reported lost in the past two years.

The most common forgotten items are lunch boxes, water bottles, umbrellas, earbuds, wrist watches, and backpacks.

People usually report their missing items at metro stations.

The metro company keeps a special list of everything that is found.

About 7 out of every 10 lost items were given back to their owners.

People can pick up their belongings at the station where the item was found.

They can also collect them from the Lost and Found Office at Kashmere Gate.

Even though people lose things often, the Delhi Metro helps most owners get their items back.
