Chitrangada Singh on Raat Akeli Hai

Chitrangada Singh was initially approached to sing a special song in the first Raat Akeli Hai, but the plan was dropped when the movie moved to OTT.

Years later, director Honey Trehan offered her a lead role in the sequel, Raat Akeli Hai 2: The Bansal Murders.

In the sequel, she plays a mother grieving the loss of her son, a role that required deep emotional and physical performance.

The film also addresses social issues like environmental injustice, which resonated with Singh as a mother.

Her journey from a missed opportunity to a significant role highlights how timing and destiny play a part in an actor's career.
