STAGE Develops India’s First AI-Made Sir Chhotu Ram Biopic
STAGE is making a film about farmer leader Sir Chhotu Ram.
The company says it is India’s first biopic made using artificial intelligence.
AI is being used to design characters, create voices, make music and build three-dimensional scenes.
It is also helping the filmmakers imagine the historical world in which Sir Chhotu Ram lived.
STAGE says this could make films cheaper and faster to produce.
The company hopes this will help more stories from different cultures and languages reach audiences.
STAGE says technology will support storytellers rather than replace storytelling.
The film is intended to introduce Sir Chhotu Ram’s work for farmers to a new generation.
Regional-language OTT platform STAGE is producing what it calls India’s first AI-made biopic on farmer leader Sir Chhotu Ram.
AI is being used for visualisation, character generation, voices, background music and 3D scene creation.
STAGE says the technology can reduce filmmaking costs and timelines while enabling more regional and culturally focused stories.
The film aims to present Sir Chhotu Ram’s struggles and work for farmers to a new generation while preserving historical context.
The project is part of STAGE’s broader strategy to develop original content using AI-assisted production tools.
