TN CM Urges PM to Exclude NEET from BPT, BOT Admissions
The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M K Stalin, is against a new rule that makes NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) mandatory for two health courses: Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) and Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT).
He wrote a letter to the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, asking him to stop this rule.
Stalin believes that NEET is unfair because it forces students to pay for expensive coaching and causes a lot of stress.
He also thinks that the rule is being made without talking to the state governments, which is not right.
He is worried that this will make things even harder for students who come from poor families.
Stalin says that just appearing for NEET doesn't make sense and is only helping coaching centers make money.
He wants the government to reconsider this decision.
